What is happening in our government?  Here is just a partial list of people surrounding Barack Obama.  These are people either he personally selected, or those that his most trusted minions selected and he approved for service in the White House, in the Executive Branch of the United States Government, for crying out loud.
 
This is a list of radicals, communists, Marxists and other assorted people completely out of the mainstream of American political and philosophical thought.
 
There are clearly those that would dispute the descriptions of the individuals itemized and listed below, even though a simple Google of these names will provide necessary supporting documentation.  But, for arguments sake, let’s say these descriptions are completely correct and without dispute.
 
Would it matter?  Does it matter that the president surrounds himself and seeks guidance, advice and support from assorted Marxists, socialists, NAMBLA advocates and other miscreants?  Has there ever been a president with people like this attending him?  If this is true, does it cause people to change their minds about the president…..or not? 
 
Is it okay that people like this are in positions of authority in the United States?  The answer to that question can only be a simple “Yes” or “No”, no?
 
Thanks to Glenn Beck for offering that insight because “Does it Matter” is a very important question people need to ask themselves.
 
Character not only counts, but I’m starting to think it’s “everything”.
 
Van Jones, former Green Jobs Czar - Self described communist, charged GWB as being involved in the planning the 9/11 attacks and believes “white environmental terrorists” pumped toxins into black communities.
 
Mark Lloyd, Director of Diversity for the FCC - Self described supporter and admirer of Hugo Chavez.
 
Ron Bloom, Manufacturing Czar - Has described free market capitalism as a joke.
 
Anita Dunn, White House Director of Communications – Counts Mao Zedong as one of her two favorite and inspiring political philosophers.
 
Carol Browner, Energy Czar – A member of Socialist International, a Marxist group that supports the implementation of global government.
 
John Holdren, White House Science Advisor – Believes in population control and forced abortions.  Also believes that newborn infants are not fully human.
 
Ezekiel Emmanuel, White House Senior Health Advisor – Believes sick people that are elderly or those that cannot contribute to the economy should be sacrificed for the social good.

Harold Koh, State Department Legal Advisor - Believes that Sharia Law could apply to disputes in US courts.
 
Kevin Jennings, Safe School Czar – unabashed NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) supporter.

Tim Geithner, Secretary of the Treasury - Evaded paying personal taxes on income he earned from 2001 through 2003.  What makes this even more compelling is that his employer actually paid to him in advance additional money to cover those taxes….which he clearly pocketed since the taxes were never paid.  As Treasury Secretary he is responsible for the Internal Revenue Service.

In my July 28th blog I provided information that might led one to conclude that William Ayers was in fact the ghost writer of Barack Obama’s book “Dreams of My Father”.  The link below provides additional analysis of that book, furthering the notion that Barack Obama is not the person he wants everyone to think he is.

 Not really a big surprise, right?  He’s a fraud.

Here’s an excellent example of the war on Fox News brought into better focus. 
 
The first link below, is commentary authored by Joe Klein of Time Magazine, in which he talks about Fox being hateful and seditious ,but as is usual from those on the left, says nothing specific or provides any examples of why he’s thinking what he’s thinking.  If anything, he seems to agree with Fox News in their contempt for Van Jones and ACORN in that Barack Obama should pick his associates with more care.  Other than that, he’s a blank slate merely picking up on Obama administration talking points with nothing to back any of it up.  You’d hope one of these leftists would actually challenge anything Fox News broadcasts, but they can’t be cause it’s all true.  It’s always just invective.
 
The other link is by Mark Steyn and you should read this and compare it to Joe Klein’s.  Very interesting considering they’re talking about the same war on Fox News.

What we have here is a political situation that compares favorably to that of a real dictatorship.  Think I’m nuts, or that I’m just an Obama hater?  Look at what’s going on around here:
 
Joe the Plumber criticizes Barack Obama and he’s investigated and marginalized by the Ohio state government and the fringe media,
 
Tea Partyers meet to criticize the federal government’s spending and tax policy and they’re called Anti-American, Nazi’s and worse and are marginalized by the Obama administration and the fringe media,
 
Town hall participants meet with their elected officials and are called thugs, “Astro-turf”, and all kinds of horrible things and are marginalized by the Obama administration and the fringe media,
 
Now the Obama administration has publically declared that Fox News is, in effect, an enemy of the state.  He has actually called a news organization “an enemy”.
 
People, no matter where your political allegiances are, you have to believe these are very bad things this administration is doing.
 
Not that long ago, at the height of the town hall meeting madness this past summer,  Barack Obama made a speech in which he said he wanted to mobilize against those criticizing his government, to have “his” people “get in their faces”.  And with that thousands of union members, ACORN representatives and others got on buses and stormed the town hall meetings (I was actually at such a meeting), disrupting the events and shouting down those that had come to meet their representatives.  The amazing part of that story was that by calling for a mobilization, a president could literally mobilize people like mobilizing an army to take untoward action.  Since when has a president had actual forces to mobilize?  This should scare the daylights out of you.  Who will his forces be mobilized against next?
