Yes, Ted Kennedy was the “Liberal Lion” of the Senate. He was also a menace to America, and quite frankly, a really bad guy. But you won’t hear any of that from the state run mainstream media that’s essentially 24/7 in love with this man. The adulation being bestowed is nothing but beyond contempt. Go figure.
Does it matter that none of the coverage discusses Mary Jo and the fact that she was alive for possibly up to 4 hours, trapped in an air pocket, while Kennedy tried, for 10 hours, to figure out how to save his own political hide and enlisting his friends to lie for him? That car could have been pulled from the water within 30 minutes, even in 1969 America, had Kennedy sought help instantly rather than immediately planning a cover-up of his act. He actually made a conscious decision to let the poor woman die. Only a liberal would ignore that kind of disgusting and extreme abuse of another human being.
You similarly don’t hear anything about how Kennedy was in direct and proactive contact with the highest levels of Soviet leadership in an effort to find ways to undermine President Ronald Reagan’s agenda leading up to the 1984 election. He actually was aiding the Soviets, our enemy. There’s a word used to describe people who do that, no? Think about that for a moment. Only a liberal would ignore that fact.
I suppose there are many who would define Kennedy’s legislative history as admirable and even brilliant, but that assumes his efforts to throw the doors open to illegal immigration and chain migration, attempting to destroy any potential for education vouchers and charter schools and blind support for teacher’s unions, his disgusting destruction of Robert Bork and the beginning of politics by personal destruction and on and on, are worthy of praise.

The documents released Monday clearly demonstrate that the individuals subjected to Enhanced Interrogation Techniques provided the bulk of intelligence we gained about al Qaeda.This intelligence saved lives and prevented terrorist attacks.These detainees also, according to the documents, played a role in nearly every capture of al Qaeda members and associates since 2002.The activities of the CIA in carrying out the policies of the Bush Administration were directly responsible for defeating all efforts by al Qaeda to launch further mass casualty attacks against the United States.The people involved deserve our gratitude.They do not deserve to be the targets of political investigations or prosecutions.President Obama’s decision to allow the Justice Department to investigate and possibly prosecute CIA personnel, and his decision to remove authority for interrogation from the CIA to the White House, serves as a reminder, if any were needed, of why so many Americans have doubts about this Administration’s ability to be responsible for our nation’s security.
The decision of Barack Obama to go after the CIA operatives that helped to defeat Al Qaida and their planned attacks speaks volumes about the direction our country is taking and the insidious characters we have running the defense and security of the United States. Only in this country, at this specific time, would it be conceivable that terrorists and mass murderers are characterized as ”victims” and the people guarding our security are characterized as “villains”. Is that not wrong? What are we doing to ourselves and to our warriors?
When the history of the demise of our country is written by future historians, the consensus will be that the United States committed suicide.
Isn’t this one of the things a tyranny is known for, intimidating those whom the powerful want to control? Here the Democrats send letters to health insurance CEOs demanding information about CEO compensation, conferences, travel, entertainment and all kinds of other operating expenses that’s essentially not only none of their business but interferes with the operation of free markets and private enterprise. Once again the Constitution is trampled.
Is this what we can expect from this President and this Congress, a liberal/Democrat Congress I might add? Isn’t this upsetting you? Is this the kind of change you wanted? Isn’t this tyranny come alive? What I don’t understand is why we’re not raging in the streets.
